Job Description
A leading offshore contractor is currently seeking an experienced Rigger Foreman for a major offshore project onboard a Semi-Submersible Crane Vessel operating in United Kingdom waters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising rigging crews, coordinating lifting operations, ensuring safe execution of rigging activities, and maintaining compliance with offshore safety standards and project requirements.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced rigging professionals with supervisory experience and valid offshore certifications.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate offshore rigging operations
Lead rigging teams during lifting and installation activities
Ensure compliance with lifting plans and risk assessments
Monitor safe use of lifting equipment and rigging gear
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
Coordinate activities with vessel management and project teams
Maintain operational efficiency and safety standards
Support offshore construction and heavy lifting projects
Requirements
Rigger Competence Stage 4 Certificate
Valid BOSIET with CA-EBS
Valid OEUK Medical Certificate
Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate
STCW Security Awareness Certificate
STCW Basic Safety Training (preferred)
Previous experience as Rigger Foreman offshore
Experience on heavy-lift or crane vessels preferred
Good English communication skills
Strong leadership and safety management skills
