Job Description
An offshore contractor is urgently seeking an experienced Rigger for an immediate assignment in the North Sea.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting lifting operations, handling rigging equipment, assisting crane activities, and ensuring safe execution of offshore construction and maintenance work in accordance with company and industry safety standards.
This opportunity is ideal for qualified riggers who are available to mobilize immediately and possess relevant offshore certifications.
Job Responsibilities
Perform offshore rigging and lifting operations
Inspect and maintain rigging equipment and lifting gear
Assist crane operators during lifting activities
Prepare loads for safe transportation and installation
Follow lifting plans, procedures, and risk assessments
Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with offshore HSE regulations
Support offshore construction and maintenance projects
Requirements
Previous offshore rigging experience
Valid rigging certification cards relevant to the role
Valid offshore safety certifications
Good understanding of lifting operations and safety procedures
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary offshore team
Strong safety awareness and communication skills
Available for immediate mobilization
