Job Description:
A leading offshore contractor is seeking experienced Deck Crew / Riggers for an offshore project mobilisation from Aberdeen. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting offshore lifting operations, deck activities, cargo handling, and rigging operations in accordance with company safety procedures and offshore industry standards.
The assignment is a short-term offshore trip requiring qualified personnel with valid offshore certifications and proven experience in rigging and lifting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform rigging and lifting operations safely according to offshore procedures.
Assist with cargo handling, deck operations, and equipment movements.
Conduct inspections of lifting gear and rigging equipment before use.
Support Banksman/Slinger duties during lifting operations.
Maintain a safe working environment and comply with HSE requirements.
Requirements:
Valid BOSIET certificate
Valid MIST certificate
Valid OEUK / OGUK Medical certificate
Banksman Slinger Stage 3 or Stage 4 certification
Rigging & Lifting Stage 3 or Stage 4 certification
Working at Height Unit 2 certification
Rigging NVQ qualification
Previous offshore deck crew / rigging experience
Proficiency in English communication
