Job Description:
An experienced Stick Welder (Pipe) is urgently required for an onshore project in Invergordon, Scotland. Due to unforeseen circumstances, one competent welder is required to join a 4-person team working on a piping scope associated with a Jack-Up Rig.
The successful candidate will assist the team with welding activities as required. Accommodation on the rig is available if required. The assignment is expected to last approximately 2 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
As per project requirements, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform stick welding on pipework in accordance with project specifications.
Assist the 4-person team with piping scope activities as required.
Ensure welding work meets required quality and safety standards.
Follow site safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
Support other project tasks within the scope of the assignment when required.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Stick Welder / Pipe Welder.
Competent in pipe welding and related activities.
Relevant welding qualifications/certificates.
Previous experience on offshore, marine, or Jack-Up Rig projects is preferred.
Valid medical fitness certificate and relevant site documentation.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Available for the full duration of the assignment.
