Location: North Sea (UK Sector)
Drillmar Resources is recruiting an experienced Rig Welder to join a Jack-Up drilling installation operating in the UK Sector of the North Sea. The assignment is scheduled to commence on 22nd January and will run for up to 3 weeks.
This role is essential to supporting safe drilling and maintenance operations onboard. Only candidates with proven operational experience as a Rig Welder on drilling installations will be considered.
• Carry out structural and maintenance welding tasks onboard the jack-up rig
• Perform welding repairs on drilling and marine equipment as required
• Read and interpret welding drawings, specifications, and procedures
• Ensure welding work meets required quality standards and certification requirements
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition
• Comply with permit-to-work systems, safety procedures, and company policies
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and emergency drills
• Maintain accurate records of completed work
• Previous operational experience as a Rig Welder onboard drilling installations
• OPITO Survival (BOSIET / FOET) with CA-EBS
• OPITO Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST)
• OGUK Medical Certificate with valid Bideltoid Measurements
• Valid Welder Codings
• Abrasive Wheels Certification
