Job Description:
On behalf of the client, a Rig Welder is required for a short-term offshore assignment. The role involves performing welding operations on a drilling rig, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with offshore safety and quality standards. Candidates must have relevant offshore experience and be ready for immediate deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Perform welding tasks on offshore drilling rig structures and equipment
• Ensure welds meet required technical and safety standards
• Follow HSE procedures and offshore safety regulations
• Maintain welding equipment and tools
• Support maintenance and repair activities onboard
Requirements:
• Valid welding certifications and coding
• Essential offshore certification (e.g. BOSIET/FOET)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Proven offshore experience in similar role
