Job Description:
Granite Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Plater (Deck or Ropes) for an offshore assignment in the United Kingdom.
Mobilisation is scheduled for July, with an estimated contract duration of approximately two weeks. The successful candidate will carry out structural steelwork, repairs, and fabrication tasks while supporting offshore maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out steel fabrication, repairs, and plate work onboard.
Perform structural maintenance on deck equipment and offshore structures.
Read and interpret technical drawings where required.
Assist with rope access or deck maintenance activities when assigned.
Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and safe working practices.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates (if applicable)
Medical Fitness Certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Right to Work in the UK (mandatory)
Previous offshore experience as a Plater
