Job Description
Select Offshore is currently recruiting experienced Offshore Painters for an upcoming offshore project requiring immediate mobilisation.
The successful candidate will carry out painting, surface preparation and related offshore maintenance activities while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out offshore painting and coating activities.
- Prepare surfaces before painting, including cleaning and surface preparation.
- Apply protective coatings according to project specifications and procedures.
- Inspect completed work and maintain required quality standards.
- Safely handle painting equipment, tools and materials.
- Maintain clean and safe working areas.
- Follow permit-to-work systems, risk assessments and offshore HSE procedures.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and emergency drills.
- Work effectively as part of a professional offshore maintenance team.
Requirements
- US B1 OCS Visa in hand – mandatory.
- Previous offshore painting experience.
- STCW Basic Safety Training (BST) – mandatory.
- STCW Security Awareness (SA) – mandatory.
- HUET with CA-EBS – mandatory.
- Valid Seaman's Book – mandatory.
- Valid Offshore Medical – mandatory.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in an offshore environment.
- Availability for ASAP mobilisation.
