Job Description
A leading offshore drilling operator is currently recruiting an Ordinary Seaman (OS) to join a Drillship operating from Las Palmas.
The successful candidate will support deck operations, maintenance activities, watchkeeping duties, cargo handling operations, and assist the deck department in maintaining safe and efficient vessel operations.
This position is suitable for junior deck crew members seeking offshore drilling vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with deck maintenance and preservation work
Support navigational watchkeeping activities
Assist during mooring and cargo operations
Maintain deck equipment and work areas
Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures
Follow company HSE policies and vessel procedures
Support safe offshore vessel operations
Requirements
Valid STCW II/4 Certificate of Competency (Mandatory)
Previous offshore or marine vessel experience preferred
Valid STCW certification package
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Ability to commit to a 3–4 month rotation
Strong work ethic and safety awareness
