Location: Offshore – Myanmar
Job Description:
The Radio Operator is responsible for ensuring clear and effective communication between the offshore installation and onshore base, vessels, and helicopters. The role involves managing all radio and telecommunications equipment, maintaining communication logs, and ensuring compliance with international and company communication standards. This position plays a crucial role in emergency coordination and safety communication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain all communication systems (VHF, HF, UHF, satellite).
• Ensure continuous communication with supply vessels, helicopters, and shore base.
• Maintain accurate communication and transmission logs.
• Assist in emergency response and drills.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning and calibrated according to regulations.
Requirements:
• Valid GMDSS and Radio Operator certificates.
• Offshore communication experience in Oil & Gas preferred.
• Excellent English communication and reporting skills.
