Job Description:
Advance Global Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Radio Operator for an offshore drilling project in the United Kingdom, with mobilization scheduled for 22 July.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all onboard radio communications and communication systems supporting offshore drilling operations. The role includes maintaining reliable communication between the offshore installation, vessels, and onshore personnel while ensuring compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and offshore safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate and maintain onboard radio and communication equipment.
Coordinate offshore communications between the installation, vessels, helicopters, and shore base.
Maintain accurate communication logs and operational records.
Ensure communication systems remain operational and compliant with company procedures.
Support emergency communications and assist during drills and emergency situations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (OGUK Medical).
Proficiency in English communication.
Valid GMDSS Certificate.
Valid DGA Certificate.
Valid DGBS Certificate.
Valid MIST Certificate.
Valid FOET with CA-EBS.
UK Passport or valid UK Right to Work.
Previous experience as a Radio Operator in offshore drilling operations is preferred.
Employment Details:
Contract Duration: Approximately 3 weeks (rotational).
Joining Date: 22 July.
Project Location: United Kingdom.
