🔹 POSITION: Derrick Operator
Job Description:
Team Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Derrick Operator for an upcoming offshore project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting drilling operations from the derrick, ensuring safe and efficient handling of tubulars and drilling equipment in line with offshore safety standards and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Operating and maintaining derrick equipment during drilling operations
• Handling drill pipes, casing, and related tubulars
• Assisting with tripping, making up, and breaking out operations
• Ensuring safe communication with the drill floor team
• Maintaining strict compliance with HSE procedures and safety standards
• Supporting rig operations as part of the drilling team
Requirements:
• Proven manual derrick experience
• Valid offshore certifications (STCW / OPITO as applicable)
• Strong safety awareness and team-oriented mindset
• Previous experience in offshore drilling operations preferred
• Good communication skills
