DME Namibia provides marine services for offshore drilling units, including ballast operations, marine stability management, and barge support.
We are seeking a Ballast Control Operator (BCO) to manage ballast systems, support vessel stability, and assist in installation and deck activities.
The position requires technical expertise, situational awareness, and offshore experience.
• Operating and monitoring the ballast control system
• Maintaining vessel trim and stability
• Supporting marine installation and deck operations
• Coordinating with the Master, Chief Mate, and Marine Section Leader
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and ballast procedures
• STCW license relevant to ballast operations
• Offshore medical certificate
• BOSIET / FOET
• Offshore drilling/marine experience
• Good English communication
