Location: United States – Offshore / Galveston, TX
Job Description:
The Oiler will assist in maintaining and lubricating all mechanical machinery aboard marine construction equipment. This position is vital for ensuring safe and efficient operations at sea and on-site projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lubricate and maintain vessel machinery and auxiliary systems.
• Monitor oil levels, temperature, and equipment performance.
• Assist engineers in machinery repair and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety and pollution-prevention procedures.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW and U.S. Merchant Mariner credentials.
• Experience as an Oiler or Engine Room Rating.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of marine systems.
• Must pass physical and drug screening.
