Job Description: An experienced Engineer Officer (STCW III/1) is required to join a Harbour Tug operating in the Western Scheldt, Netherlands. The successful candidate will serve as the Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch and will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery and systems. The role involves supporting harbour towage operations and working independently as a Single Engineer onboard. Candidates should have previous towing vessel experience and be capable of managing engineering duties in a dynamic operational environment.

Key Responsibilities: As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operate, monitor, and maintain engine room machinery and auxiliary equipment
• Ensure the safe and efficient performance of all engineering systems onboard
• Carry out planned maintenance and repairs as required
• Support harbour towage operations from an engineering perspective
• Maintain technical records and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements

• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• STCW III/1 Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch Certificate
• Previous experience with towing operations
• Experience working as a Single Engineer
• Good command of English
