Position: Deck Officer (OOW)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Deck Officer (OOW) to join a 7th Generation Drillship for one of our clients. The position is open only to European nationals. The role involves safe navigation, bridge watchkeeping, and deck operations on the drillship. This assignment is a 12-month rolling contract with 28/28 rotations. The position does not include DPO duties.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Conducting bridge watchkeeping and navigation duties as Officer of the Watch
- Assisting the Chief Officer and Captain in day-to-day deck operations
- Monitoring and reporting vessel position, weather, and operational conditions
- Ensuring compliance with vessel safety management systems and statutory regulations
- Participating in drills, emergency procedures, and bridge operations
- Maintaining accurate navigational and operational logs
Requirements:
- Valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) Certificate of Competency (COC)
- Valid STCW short courses
- BOSIET / FOET / HUET with CA-EBS
- Previous experience as Deck Officer on drilling units (mandatory)
- Very good English communication skills
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
- European nationality (mandatory)
