We are currently recruiting a Motorman to join a Jack-Up Drilling Unit operating in the UK sector. This is a short-term offshore assignment requiring a UK national with valid offshore certification and prior experience in engine room support roles on drilling installations.
The Motorman will support engine room operations, maintenance activities, and ensure safe and efficient functioning of machinery in compliance with offshore safety standards.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting engineers with daily engine room operations and watchkeeping
• Carrying out routine oiling, greasing, and cleaning of machinery
• Supporting planned maintenance and basic repair tasks
• Monitoring machinery parameters and reporting abnormalities
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of engine room spaces
• Complying with all HSE procedures, toolbox talks, and drills
• UK National (mandatory)
• Valid BOSIET
• Valid CA-EBS
• Valid MIST
• Valid OGUK Medical Certificate
• Previous experience as Motorman on drilling units is an advantage
• Basic English communication skills
