Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Motorman for an ad-hoc offshore assignment onboard an FPSO operating on a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation through December 2026.
The successful candidate will support the Engine Department by carrying out routine engine room operations, maintenance, cleaning, and machinery inspections while ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform engine room cleaning and housekeeping duties.
Maintain cleanliness of port and starboard engine rooms.
Clean forward hydraulic room and monitor hydraulic tank levels.
Clean and inspect bow thruster rooms and azimuth thruster rooms.
Clean steering gear compartments and monitor oil levels.
Check lubricant and grease stock levels.
Pump bilge and sludge tanks as required.
Maintain cleanliness of engine room workshops and control room.
Monitor MGE sump levels.
Clean lubrication oil skids and remove oil leaks.
Empty engine room waste bins and maintain sanitary facilities.
Carry out engine room painting when required.
Clean auto filter discs, fuel duplex filters, and purifier discs.
Transfer Argina and Auto Diesel from C-Deck.
Assist with fuel and fresh water bunkering operations.
Support the Engine Department with general maintenance duties.
Requirements:
Previous experience as Motorman on an FPSO.
Previous offshore Oil & Gas experience is mandatory.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Offshore Survival Certificate (BOSIET/FOET or equivalent).
Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
Good written and spoken English.
Strong awareness of offshore safety culture and industry standards.
Ability to work effectively in a multinational crew.
