Job Description
TOS People is looking for an experienced Motorman to support engine-room operations and assist with the maintenance and inspection of machinery and auxiliary equipment onboard an FPSO or similar offshore vessel.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist engine-room personnel with routine machinery checks.
- Support maintenance, cleaning, and repair activities.
- Monitor equipment condition and report abnormalities.
- Maintain engine-room cleanliness and safe working conditions.
- Follow instructions from engineering officers and comply with safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same rank and on the same or similar vessel type: FSO, FPSO, large offshore vessel, or tanker.
- Good English communication skills.
- Valid BOSIET, FOET, and AOT/BOCT certificates as required.
- Relevant engine-room ratings qualifications and STCW certificates, as applicable.
- Valid offshore medical certificate and seafarer documents as applicable.
