Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an ad hoc Motorman to support operations onboard an FPSO offshore installation. This role operates on a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation through December 2026 and is suitable for candidates with previous FPSO and offshore experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for engine room housekeeping, machinery space maintenance support, and assisting the engineering team with routine operational tasks. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, and efficient operation of machinery spaces in accordance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out routine cleaning and housekeeping of engine rooms, steering gear rooms, hydraulics rooms, bow thruster rooms, azimuth thruster rooms, and workshops.
Monitor storage and operating tank levels, pump bilge and sludge tanks, and perform routine oil and grease stock checks.
Assist with maintenance activities including cleaning purifier discs, fuel filters, lubrication systems, and engine control areas.
Support bunkering operations for fuel and fresh water.
Assist the engineering department with general machinery maintenance and ensure compliance with offshore HSE procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
Valid Survival Certificate (BOSIET/FOET or equivalent as required).
Proficiency in English communication (written and spoken).
Previous FPSO and Offshore experience is mandatory.
Good understanding of Oil & Gas safety culture.
Ability to work effectively within a multicultural offshore team.
