Location: Spain
We are currently recruiting an experienced Offshore Medic to join a DP3 Drillship operating in Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care, emergency response, and health support to all personnel onboard in accordance with offshore medical standards, company procedures, and international maritime regulations.
This role is suitable for a qualified Offshore Medic with prior offshore or drilling vessel experience, strong emergency response skills, and the ability to work independently in a high-risk offshore environment.
As per company policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Providing primary and emergency medical care onboard
• Managing medical facilities, equipment, and pharmaceuticals
• Responding to medical emergencies and coordinating medevac when required
• Maintaining medical records and incident reports
• Promoting health, hygiene, and wellbeing onboard
• Ensuring compliance with offshore medical, HSE, and company procedures
• Supporting emergency drills and safety operations
• OPITO BOSIET / FOET including CA-EBS
• Offshore Medic Course (approved)
• Medic Licence to Practice (RGN)
• Valid Seafarer’s Book
• Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate
• Security Awareness certification
• Valid STCW certificates
• Strong English communication skills
• Previous offshore or drilling vessel experience – preferred
