Job Description:
A Senior Rig Mechanic is required for a short-term offshore assignment on an Offshore Platform in the UK North Sea. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems associated with offshore rig operations. The position is available from 24 August to 1 September 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out maintenance, inspection, and repair of rig mechanical equipment.
Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective maintenance.
Assist with planned maintenance and equipment inspections.
Ensure machinery and mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently.
Follow offshore safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Senior Rig Mechanic
Offshore platform / drilling experience
All mandatory offshore certifications
Working at Heights – Unit 2
Must be based in the UK
Must have valid Right to Work in the UK
Medical fitness certificate
Good command of English
Relevant mechanical qualifications and experience
