Senior Mechanic for Drillship (International)

Job Description:
Olympus Marine Services is recruiting a Senior Mechanic for permanent employment onboard an offshore drillship. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the maintenance, inspection, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment onboard.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervising and carrying out mechanical maintenance and repair work.
• Inspecting and monitoring machinery and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshooting mechanical faults and equipment failures.
• Coordinating maintenance activities with the technical team.
• Ensuring safe operation of machinery in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Senior Mechanic in offshore operations.
• Previous drillship experience preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Relevant qualifications, certifications, and valid offshore training.
• Ability to work effectively in a demanding offshore environment.
• Commitment to offshore safety standards.
