Advance Global Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking experienced Rig Mechanics to join one of our client’s drillship operations on an urgent basis.
The role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of drilling and auxiliary mechanical systems onboard a drillship. Candidates must have proven drillship experience and be capable of working safely and efficiently in a high-pressure offshore drilling environment.
• Rig Mechanic
As per company and client policy, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintenance, inspection, and repair of drilling equipment and mechanical systems
• Troubleshooting mechanical faults on rig machinery and auxiliary equipment
• Ensuring equipment is maintained in line with OEM and drilling program requirements
• Supporting drilling operations to minimize downtime
• Compliance with company, client, and regulatory HSE standards
• Participation in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills
• Accurate reporting of maintenance activities and equipment status
• Mandatory drillship experience in the same rank
• Relevant mechanical trade qualification
• Valid offshore certifications (as per role and flag/state requirements)
• Offshore medical fitness certificate
• Strong safety awareness and hands-on technical skills
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to mobilize immediately (ASAP)
• Contract: Project / rotational (details to be confirmed)
