Location: North Sea (UK Sector)
Drillmar Resources is recruiting an experienced Rig Mechanic to join a Jack-Up drilling installation operating in the UK Sector of the North Sea. The assignment is scheduled to commence on 22nd January for a duration of up to 3 weeks.
This role is critical to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems onboard the rig. Only candidates with prior operational experience in the same role on drilling installations will be considered.
• Carry out maintenance, inspection, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems onboard the jack-up rig
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective maintenance
• Support drilling and marine operations by ensuring machinery reliability
• Perform routine and planned maintenance in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations and permit-to-work systems
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills
• Proven experience as a Rig Mechanic onboard drilling installations
• OPITO Survival (BOSIET / FOET) with CA-EBS
• OPITO Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST)
• OGUK Medical Certificate with valid Bideltoid Measurements
• Trade Papers relevant to the mechanical discipline
• Abrasive Wheels Certification
