Job Description

Select Offshore is seeking experienced Rig Mechanics for upcoming assignments onboard Jack-Up Barges.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the safe and reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical machinery and equipment onboard offshore vessels and jack-up barges.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carry out inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Monitor machinery and report defects or abnormal operating conditions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with onboard procedures.
• Assist with mechanical repairs and maintenance during offshore operations.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety procedures and company standards.

Requirements

• National or UK/Singapore III/1 CoC.
• Candidates holding Panama/Honduras III/1 CoC must also possess National III/4 or III/5 certification.
• Minimum 2 years of offshore vessel experience.
• Previous experience on Jack-Up Barges is preferred.
• Experience on vessels above 400 GRT.
• Valid STCW certificates applicable to the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer’s documents.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in an offshore environment.
