Job Description:

Ogenus Offshore is supporting the crewing requirements of a major drillship reactivation project and is currently seeking an experienced Rig Mechanic for an upcoming assignment.

The successful candidate must hold valid offshore certification and be available to mobilize in the near term. The assignment is scheduled to commence on 14 October 2026 for a 5-week trip.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company/project policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

•  Carrying out mechanical maintenance and repair activities onboard the drillship. 
•  Inspecting, servicing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems. 
•  Troubleshooting mechanical faults and supporting corrective maintenance. 
•  Following planned maintenance procedures and project requirements. 
•  Maintaining high standards of safety and compliance throughout the assignment. 

Requirements:

•  Proven experience as a Rig Mechanic. 
•  Previous offshore/drilling experience. 
• Valid offshore certification. 
•  Relevant technical/mechanical qualifications and competency certificates. 
•  Valid medical fitness certificate. 
•  Good English communication skills. 
•  Availability to mobilize in the near term. 
•  Ability to join on 14 October 2026.
