Job Description
Accord People is recruiting an experienced Mechanic / Hydraulic Mechanic to support maintenance and repair activities on a drill rig located at a shipyard in Europe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work during the assignment. Previous drill-rig experience is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair activities on drill-rig equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical faults.
- Inspect hydraulic systems, machinery and related equipment.
- Perform planned and corrective maintenance.
- Support testing and commissioning of repaired equipment.
- Identify defects and report technical issues to the responsible supervisor.
- Follow maintenance procedures, risk assessments and safe working practices.
- Comply with all applicable HSE requirements.
- Participate in toolbox talks and site safety activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience on drill rigs – mandatory.
- Proven mechanical and/or hydraulic maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Valid EU Right to Work – mandatory.
- Offshore Survival certification – mandatory.
- Valid Medical certification – mandatory.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently.
- Immediate availability for a 14-day assignment.
