We are currently recruiting an experienced Mechanic to join an international drilling project supporting oil and gas operations worldwide.
The Mechanic will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and drilling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The role requires hands-on experience with heavy machinery, drilling systems, and rotating equipment in compliance with international safety and operational standards.
This position is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical knowledge and proven experience in drilling rigs or heavy industrial environments.
• Performing maintenance and repair of drilling equipment and mechanical systems
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and implementing corrective actions
• Maintaining engines, pumps, compressors, and rotating machinery
• Conducting preventive maintenance according to maintenance schedules
• Ensuring safe operation of all mechanical equipment
• Maintaining maintenance logs and reporting equipment status
• Complying with company procedures and HSE regulations
• Supporting operational readiness and minimizing downtime
• Proven experience as Mechanic in drilling, oil and gas, or heavy industrial projects
• Relevant technical or trade certification
• Knowledge of drilling equipment and mechanical systems
• Valid passport and readiness for international deployment
• Good understanding of international HSE standards
• Ability to work in rotational schedules
• Good English communication skills
