Job Description:
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is currently recruiting an experienced Mechanic to join a Drillship operating in Trinidad.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery onboard the drilling vessel.
The position is available for an ASAP start through 12 August 2026. Candidates must hold the required offshore medical, engineering and STCW certification.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical machinery and equipment.
Troubleshooting mechanical faults and performing necessary repairs.
Inspecting machinery and reporting defects or abnormal operating conditions.
Supporting the engineering team with maintenance and operational activities.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with vessel and company procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Mechanic onboard a Drillship or similar offshore drilling vessel.
Valid ENG1 Medical certificate.
Valid EOOW certification.
Valid STCW certificates.
Relevant mechanical maintenance experience.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Ability to join at short notice.
