Job Description:
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join a Drillship project.
The successful candidate will support the Engine Department with mechanical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of onboard machinery and equipment. The role requires offshore drilling experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work safely in a demanding marine environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of mechanical equipment onboard
• Assist engineers with troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities
• Monitor machinery performance and report technical issues
• Support planned maintenance programs and equipment reliability
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and offshore standards
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the engine room
Requirements:
• Minimum Certificate of Competency III/1 required
• Previous experience as Mechanic onboard Drillships or offshore vessels preferred
• Valid Seaman’s Book
• Valid BOSIET or FOET with CA-EBS
• Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate
• Valid STCW certification package
• Offshore drilling experience is an advantage
• Good English communication skills
• Strong technical knowledge and safety awareness
