Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Mechanic to join a Drillship operating in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM). The assignment is scheduled to commence on 2nd July for a 4-week trip. This is an excellent offshore opportunity for a qualified mechanic to support maintenance and repair operations onboard a drilling unit in a demanding offshore environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment onboard the drillship
- Supporting planned maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient operation of vessel and drilling equipment
- Inspecting machinery, tools, and mechanical components to identify faults and ensure operational readiness
- Assisting engineering and technical teams in maintaining compliance with safety and company procedures
- Keeping work areas, tools, and maintenance records in good order according to onboard standards

Requirements:
- Valid certification for the Mechanic position as required by company policy
- Valid STCW certificates
- Medical fitness certificate
- B1/B2 OCS US Visa
- Proficiency in English communication
- Previous offshore / drilling vessel experience is considered an advantage
