Location: USA – Axis Operations
Job Description:
Axis is seeking a skilled Mechanic to maintain and repair rig and field equipment. This role ensures that machinery operates safely and efficiently to support ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on rig equipment
• Troubleshooting mechanical failures in the field
• Conducting preventive maintenance inspections
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards during repair work
• Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and reports
Requirements:
• Technical diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanics
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a mechanic, preferably in oilfield operations
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Ability to work in remote and challenging environments
