Job Description:
A leading offshore company is recruiting an experienced Deck Mechanic for offshore project in Germany and Denmark. The vessel will mobilize immediately, with the project commencing in mid-August. This is an excellent opportunity to join the vessel from the beginning of its operational deployment.
Open Position:
- Deck Mechanic / Deck Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair of deck machinery, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Support vessel mobilization and offshore project operations.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical faults.
- Assist with the maintenance of cranes and lifting equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and safety procedures.
- Support the daily technical and operational activities onboard the Jack-Up vessel.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Deck Mechanic or Deck Engineer on offshore vessels or Jack-Up units is mandatory.
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC).
- Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate.
- Valid GWO Basic Safety Training (5 modules).
- Valid Chester Step certificate.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Additional certifications in lifting operations, mechanical maintenance, electrical awareness, or hot work will be considered an advantage.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small offshore team.
- Willingness to perform practical, hands-on work onboard.
