Job Description:
We are urgently recruiting an Offshore Assistant Mechanic for a long-term offshore project operating under US jurisdiction. The project is expected to last between 1 to 3 years, offering stable employment and consistent rotations. The role involves supporting mechanical operations and maintenance onboard offshore units, working within a structured team and under established safety standards. All travel expenses are covered by the employer, with crew changes conducted out of Louisiana.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment
• Supporting senior mechanics and engineers in daily operations
• Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
• Ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in mechanical work areas

Requirements:
• US Citizenship is mandatory
• Relevant experience as Offshore Assistant Mechanic or similar role
• Valid STCW certificates (as applicable to the position)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Ability to work offshore on rotational schedules
• Good communication and teamwork skills
