DME Namibia operates in the offshore drilling sector, supporting marine operations, installation activities, and offshore logistics for drilling units operating in Namibian waters.
We are seeking an experienced Master to oversee navigation, marine operations, and the safe management of offshore drilling units.
The project includes installation support, deck operations, barge management, and coordination with drilling teams.
The Master must demonstrate strong leadership, safety awareness, and extensive offshore experience.
• Safe execution of marine, deck, and installation operations
• Complete responsibility for vessel command and navigation
• Supervising deck, marine activities, and anchor handling (if applicable)
• Watchkeeping and vessel movement control
• Ensuring compliance with maritime and offshore safety standards
• Maintaining operational readiness of safety and navigation systems
• Valid STCW Master Unlimited
• Offshore medical certificate
• BOSIET / FOET
• Strong offshore marine/drilling experience
• Excellent English communication
• Documents valid minimum 18 months
