Job Description:
DMC Offshore is recruiting an experienced Barge Master for an upcoming Jack-Up Drilling Rig project in Croatia.
The successful candidate will coordinate marine and barge operations, monitor stability and ballast systems, and support the safe positioning and operational readiness of the installation. Applicants must have relevant marine operations experience and appropriate qualifications.
Croatian candidates are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates from other EU countries are welcome, provided they hold or are eligible to obtain a valid A1 certificate.
The assignment is expected to last 60–90 days, with mobilisation as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Coordinate marine and barge operations in accordance with approved procedures.
• Monitor stability, ballast systems, and relevant operational parameters.
• Support the safe positioning and operational readiness of the installation.
• Coordinate with the OIM, marine team, and other departments.
• Monitor weather and environmental conditions and maintain marine records.

Requirements:
• Relevant experience as a Barge Master or in a comparable marine operations position.
• Previous offshore installation or drilling rig experience is an advantage.
• Appropriate marine qualifications and competency certificates.
• Valid offshore safety training and medical certification, as required.
• Good English communication skills and strong safety awareness.
• Knowledge of stability, ballast operations, and marine safety procedures.
• Croatian candidates particularly encouraged to apply.
• Other EU candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid A1 certificate.
• Availability for immediate mobilisation and the full 60–90-day assignment.
