Job Description:

We are supporting a leading international energy company in the search for a highly experienced FPSO Manager to join their Mexico City operations. This is a senior strategic leadership role with full responsibility for managing the end-to-end FPSO delivery scope, from early engineering through handover and start-up.

The FPSO Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of complex offshore projects, acting as a key interface between internal departments, partners, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Lead, manage, and develop the FPSO project organization and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure alignment with the Basis for Design (BFD), Project Execution Plan (PEP), and company standards
• Oversee FPSO project execution across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases
• Drive HSEQ excellence, promoting a strong safety culture and operational integrity
• Manage procurement strategies, risk management processes, technical reviews, and project reporting
• Coordinate closely with Subsurface, Operations, HSE, Drilling & Wells, and Commercial teams
• Lead partner engagement and interface with governmental and regulatory authorities
• Ensure delivery on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Extensive FPSO experience with minimum 10 years in FPSO project delivery leadership roles
15+ years of experience in oil & gas, with strong background in facilities design, construction, and completion
• Proven ability to manage EPC, commissioning, asset integrity, and operations readiness
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment
Spanish language skills are an advantage, but not mandatory
• Open to international / expat candidates
