Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Develop, implement, and oversee the environmental management system for NL and UK offshore operations.
· Ensure full compliance with Dutch and UK environmental legislation and maintain proactive engagement with regulatory bodies.
· Lead environmental impact assessments and manage key stakeholder relationships (government, regulators, partners).
· Provide strategic environmental advice to project teams and senior management to integrate sustainability into business decisions.
· Drive continuous improvement in environmental performance, reporting, and sustainability initiatives.

Job Requirements:
· Education & Certification:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
· Professional certification in environmental management (e.g., NEBOSH Environmental Diploma, IEMA Certified) is highly desirable.
· Experience & Knowledge:
· 8-10 years of direct environmental management experience within the offshore oil & gas (E&P) industry.
· Expert, in-depth knowledge of environmental legislation in both the Netherlands and the United Kingdom is mandatory.
· Skills & Competencies:
· Proven track record in managing relationships with major external stakeholders (regulators, government agencies).
· Excellent strategic thinking with the ability to translate regulations into practical operational guidance.
· Outstanding communication and reporting skills in English (fluency required); Dutch language skills are a significant advantage.
· Ability to work independently and lead environmental initiatives in an international matrix organization.
