Job Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:
- Perform duties according to the assigned position and project procedures.
- Support safe and efficient offshore marine and construction operations.
- Supervise and coordinate deck, lifting, rigging, fabrication, and maintenance activities where applicable.
- Operate cranes and lifting equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
- Perform welding, cutting, grinding, fitting, and structural fabrication work.
- Conduct painting, coating, and surface-preparation activities.
- Assist with engine-room maintenance and machinery operations.
- Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, lifting gear, and work areas.
- Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, safety meetings, and emergency drills.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and offshore safety standards.
- Maintain operational readiness and effective teamwork within a multidisciplinary offshore team.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Proven previous offshore experience in the relevant position.
- Experience on barges, offshore construction vessels, crane vessels, or similar units is preferred.
- Relevant marine, technical, engineering, or trade qualification where applicable.
- Valid STCW certification where required.
- Valid offshore safety certificates appropriate to the position.
- Valid Passport and Medical Certificate.
- Relevant position-specific licenses and certifications.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities.
- Physically and medically fit for offshore work.
- Ability to work effectively in a multinational offshore environment.
Position-Specific Requirements
Barge Master / Engineer
- Proven offshore barge management or marine engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of marine operations, stability, ballast, and offshore project activities.
Crane Operators
- Valid offshore crane operator certification.
- Proven offshore crane operating experience.
- Senior Crane Operator candidates should have relevant supervisory experience.
Deck Supervisor / Deck Foreman
- Proven offshore deck supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of deck, lifting, cargo, and maintenance operations.
Senior / ABS Welder / Welder
- Valid welding qualifications as applicable.
- Previous offshore, marine, or Oil & Gas fabrication experience.
- ABS qualification/approval where required for the Senior / ABS Welder position.
Rigger / Rigger Foreman
- Valid rigging certification.
- Proven offshore lifting and rigging experience.
- Supervisory experience required for Rigger Foreman.
Painter / Head Painter
- Relevant marine/offshore painting and coating experience.
- Knowledge of surface preparation and protective coating systems.
- Team-lead or supervisory experience for Head Painter.
Oiler
- Relevant engine-room rating certification.
- Previous marine or offshore engine-room experience.
Gas Cutter / Grinder / Fitter / Helpers
- Relevant trade or industrial experience.
- Previous offshore fabrication or maintenance experience preferred.
