Job Description

We are recruiting qualified and experienced professionals on behalf of one of our valued clients for an upcoming Oil & Gas Drilling Project.

We are seeking experienced personnel across drilling operations, mechanical, electrical, rig-floor and communications departments. Candidates should have relevant experience in the applied position and be prepared to work safely and efficiently in a demanding drilling environment.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:

• Perform all responsibilities associated with the assigned position in accordance with company procedures.
• Support safe and efficient drilling and rig operations.
• Operate, monitor and maintain drilling, mechanical or electrical equipment as applicable.
• Assist with rig-floor, derrick, deck and general drilling activities.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs.
• Support equipment troubleshooting and report defects or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain operational readiness and safe working conditions.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, drills and emergency-response activities.
• Follow company HSE, environmental and permit-to-work procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a professional drilling team.

Requirements

General Requirements

• Relevant experience in the same or similar position.
• Previous oil & gas drilling / rig experience is preferred.
• Valid professional qualifications and certifications appropriate to the position.
• Valid medical fitness certification.
• Good command of English.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a demanding drilling environment.
• Additional position-specific certificates may be required.

Position-Specific Requirements

Driller

• Proven experience operating drilling rigs in the Driller position.
• Strong knowledge of drilling equipment and rig-floor operations.
• Valid Well Control certification where required.

Assistant Driller

• Previous Assistant Driller / Derrickman / rig-floor experience.
• Knowledge of drilling equipment and well-control procedures.

Mechanic / Assistant Mechanic

• Relevant mechanical qualification or trade certification.
• Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of drilling-rig equipment.

Electrician / Assistant Electrician

• Relevant electrical qualification.
• Experience maintaining electrical, control and power systems in industrial or drilling environments.

Floorman

• Previous rig-floor experience preferred.
• Knowledge of drilling equipment, pipe handling and safe rig-floor practices.

Derrickman

• Previous derrick / drilling-rig experience.
• Knowledge of mud systems, pipe handling and derrick operations.

Roustabout

• Previous offshore/onshore rig or oil & gas experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding general rig and deck duties.

Radio Operator

• Relevant radio communication / GMDSS qualification, where applicable.
• Previous offshore or drilling-rig communications experience preferred.
