Key Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:
- Perform all duties associated with the assigned position according to company procedures.
- Support safe and efficient offshore drilling operations.
- Carry out drilling, marine, deck, engineering, electrical, hydraulic, subsea or maintenance duties as applicable.
- Operate and maintain relevant machinery, equipment and offshore systems.
- Support rig-floor and drilling operations.
- Assist with lifting, crane and deck activities where required.
- Maintain operational readiness and report equipment defects or safety hazards.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, emergency drills and response activities.
- Follow company HSE, permit-to-work and environmental procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a professional multinational offshore team.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Relevant experience in the same or similar offshore position.
- Previous offshore drilling / rig experience preferred and required where applicable to the position.
- Valid STCW certificates and relevant maritime certification, where applicable.
- Valid COC/COP or professional qualification appropriate to the position.
- Valid passport and Seaman's Book, where applicable.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Relevant offshore safety certifications as required by the project.
- Good command of English.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a demanding offshore environment.
- Availability according to project requirements.
Position-Specific Requirements
DPO / SDPO
- Valid OOW Certificate of Competency.
- Valid DP certification appropriate to the position.
- Relevant offshore vessel / drilling vessel experience.
2nd / 3rd / 4th Engineer
- Valid engineering CoC appropriate to the rank.
- Relevant engine-room and offshore drilling experience.
Senior Electronic Technician / Electronic Technician
- Relevant electronic / instrumentation qualification.
- Experience with offshore drilling electronic, control and automation systems preferred.
Hydraulic Technician
- Proven hydraulic maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
- Offshore drilling equipment experience preferred.
Deck Foreman
- Previous offshore deck experience with crew supervision responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of deck operations and HSE requirements.
Roustabout / Ordinary Seaman
- Relevant offshore deck or seagoing experience.
- Appropriate deck-rating certification where applicable.
Crane Operator
- Valid offshore crane qualification/certification appropriate to the project.
- Proven offshore lifting experience.
Assistant Crane Operator
- Relevant crane or deck operations experience.
- Appropriate offshore lifting certification where required.
Barge Supervisor
- Relevant offshore drilling / marine experience.
- Experience with barge and marine operations.
Toolpusher
- Significant offshore drilling experience.
- Proven supervisory experience within the drilling department.
Assistant Driller
- Previous drilling-rig experience.
- Experience with drilling equipment and rig-floor operations.
Assistant Derrickhand
- Previous derrick / drilling-rig experience.
- Knowledge of drilling and pipe-handling operations.
Floorhand
- Previous rig-floor / drilling experience preferred.
- Ability to work safely in a physically demanding offshore environment.
Mechanic
- Relevant mechanical maintenance experience.
- Offshore drilling equipment experience preferred.
Electrician
- Relevant marine/offshore electrical qualification.
- Experience with offshore electrical systems and equipment.
Assistant Subsea Engineer
- Relevant subsea equipment and offshore drilling experience.
- Technical qualification appropriate to the position.
Rig Safety Advisor
- Relevant offshore HSE qualification and experience.
- Previous drilling-rig safety experience preferred.
Welder
- Valid welding qualifications applicable to offshore work.
- Proven fabrication and maintenance experience.
Radio Operator
- Relevant GMDSS / radio communication certification, as applicable.
- Offshore communications experience preferred.
Storekeeper
- Previous offshore stores, inventory or logistics experience.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
