Job Description
Blue Phoenix Deepwater is currently recruiting experienced Marine and Dynamic Positioning (DP) professionals for a long-term Offshore Deepwater Drilling Project in Nigeria.
Successful candidates will support offshore drilling operations, vessel management, dynamic positioning, marine engineering, crane operations, deck activities, and marine communications while ensuring full compliance with international offshore safety standards and company HSE procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced offshore professionals with previous Drillship, DP vessel, or deepwater drilling experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Support safe offshore drilling and marine operations
- Perform vessel command, navigation, and marine management according to rank
- Maintain safe Dynamic Positioning operations
- Operate offshore cranes and lifting equipment safely
- Supervise deck operations and offshore maintenance activities
- Perform marine engineering and barge support duties
- Manage offshore communications and radio administration
- Participate in emergency drills, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and international offshore regulations
- Maintain operational readiness and effective teamwork onboard
Requirements
- Nigerian nationals only
- Previous offshore drilling, Drillship, or DP vessel experience
- Experience relevant to the applied position
- Valid STCW certification package where applicable
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for officer positions
- Valid offshore medical certificate
- Good English communication skills
- Strong offshore operational knowledge and safety awareness
- Ability to work effectively within multinational offshore teams
- Physically and medically fit for offshore service
