Job Description

Petrolead Oil Services is expanding its field and construction teams and recruiting qualified, experienced professionals to support ongoing and upcoming Oil & Gas and industrial projects across Libya.

The company is seeking skilled personnel across painting, blasting, fireproofing, scaffolding, rigging, welding, piping, engineering, and offshore deck operations.

Successful candidates should demonstrate strong technical competence, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work safely in demanding field environments.

Positions Available

Painting & Fireproofing

• Certified Paint Specialist
• Painter / Blaster
• Painter Helper
• Fireproofing Helper

Scaffolding & Rigging

• Certified Scaffolder / Rigger
• Scaffolder

Welding & Piping

• 6G Welder
• Pipe Fitter
• Piping Engineer / Team Foreman

Field & Offshore Operations

- Roustabout / Deck Crew

Key Responsibilities

As per company and project policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Performing assigned field, construction, fabrication, and maintenance activities.
• Preparing surfaces and applying protective coatings or fireproofing materials as required.
• Erecting, inspecting, and dismantling scaffolding and supporting rigging operations.
• Carrying out welding, pipe fitting, and piping installation work according to project specifications.
• Supervising piping teams and coordinating work activities where applicable.
• Supporting roustabout, deck, and general field operations.
• Following project procedures, technical specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in the applied position.
• Appropriate technical qualifications and trade certifications.
• Valid competency certificates for certified roles, including Certified Paint Specialist, Certified Scaffolder / Rigger, and 6G Welder, as applicable.
• Previous Oil & Gas or industrial project experience is advantageous.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, project specifications, and safety procedures.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), quality, and safe working practices.
• Relevant medical fitness and site-access documentation, where required.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience for the Piping Engineer / Team Foreman position.
