Job Description:
TEXO Utilities is currently building two teams of experienced mechanical tradespeople for upcoming ad-hoc projects across various Yorkshire Water sites, with potential opportunities to move into permanent employment.
The work will involve piping and mechanical activities, site surveys, and supporting existing survey teams. Candidates with a strong mechanical background are encouraged to apply even if their current job title does not exactly match the positions listed below.

• Mechanical Fitters
• Pipefitters
• Platers
• Welders
• Other Mechanically Biased / Black Trades

Key Responsibilities:
As per company and site requirements, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Carry out piping and mechanical works across Yorkshire Water sites
• Support site surveys and existing survey teams
• Perform mechanical installation, fabrication, fitting, and maintenance duties as applicable
• Follow site safety procedures and work safely in confined and elevated environments
• Travel between various Yorkshire sites as required

Requirements:
• Strong mechanical background
• Level 3 trade qualification
• Rope / Rope Access experience required
• Valid Confined Space experience/certificate
• Rigging experience
• Experience in the relevant mechanical trade
• Flexibility to travel across Yorkshire
• Ability to work safely and efficiently on different project sites
