Job Description:

Drillmar Resources is currently recruiting for multiple key offshore roles to join a Jack-Up rig operating in the North Sea (UK Sector). These positions are on short-term assignments (typically 3 weeks) and are ideal for experienced offshore personnel with proven operational experience on drilling installations.

Candidates will play an essential role in maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant operations onboard the rig, supporting both drilling and marine systems, and ensuring all tasks are performed to industry standards.

Open Positions:

• Deck Foreman – Supervise and coordinate all deck operations, ensure equipment readiness, and lead deck teams including Crane Operators.
• Rig Welder – Perform welding maintenance and repairs on rig structures and equipment in compliance with welding codes and safety standards.
• Rig Mechanic – Maintain, inspect, and repair mechanical systems and equipment onboard.
• Hydraulic Technician – Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, ensuring uninterrupted operations of rig machinery.
• Rig Electrician – Carry out inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems onboard drilling installations.
• Roughneck – Assist with drilling operations, handling tools and equipment safely, and performing general rig floor duties.
• Floorman – Support drilling operations, assist Roughnecks, and maintain rig floor equipment.
• Roustabout – Perform general deck duties, maintenance, and support operations in the drilling area.
• Floorhand – Assist with rig floor operations, equipment handling, and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Perform tasks safely and efficiently in compliance with offshore regulations and company procedures
• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or structural systems as required per role
• Supervise and coordinate teams where applicable (Deck Foreman)
• Maintain accurate logbooks, maintenance records, and permits
• Participate in safety drills, toolbox talks, and audits
• Support operational continuity of the rig’s drilling, deck, and technical systems
• Identify hazards, report faults, and implement corrective actions where necessary

Requirements (Mandatory):

• Previous offshore experience in the applied role on drilling installations (Jack-Up rigs or similar)
• OPITO Survival (BOSIET / FOET) & CA-EBS
• OPITO Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST)
• OGUK Medical Certificate with valid Bideltoid measurements
• Role-specific certifications as required:

• Deck Foreman: Offshore Crane Operator Stage 3, OERTL/HERTL
• Rig Welder: Welder Codings, Abrasive Wheels
• Rig Mechanic: Trade Papers, Abrasive Wheels
• Hydraulic Technician: Hydraulic trade certification
• Rig Electrician: Electrical certification / ETO relevant
• Roughneck, Floorman, Roustabout, Floorhand: Proven operational rig floor experience Candidates must hold all essential training and certifications to be considered.

• Start Dates: From January 2026 onwards (role-dependent)
