Job Description

SPemocean is currently recruiting qualified and experienced professionals for an Offshore and Onshore Shutdown Project in Qatar within the Oil & Gas EPC sector.

Selected candidates will be responsible for supporting shutdown operations including rigging, welding, piping, electrical works, coating, blasting, painting, and mechanical and engineering supervision. All duties must be performed in accordance with company procedures, international offshore safety standards, and project HSE regulations.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with offshore shutdown experience, strong technical expertise, and readiness for immediate deployment in a demanding oil and gas operational environment.

Candidates with prior shutdown project experience will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Performing rigging, lifting, and material handling operations safely
• Supervising rigging teams and ensuring proper lifting procedures (Foreman / Supervisor)
• Performing piping fabrication, installation, and maintenance works
• Conducting welding operations in accordance with approved procedures and certifications
• Supporting electrical and instrumentation installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Performing blasting, painting, and coating operations in compliance with project specifications
• Supervising piping, electrical, mechanical, and coating activities (Supervisors / Engineers)
• Ensuring compliance with project HSE policies, offshore safety standards, and shutdown procedures
• Maintaining accurate reporting and communication with project management
• Supporting safe and efficient shutdown and maintenance operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in offshore or onshore shutdown projects
• QLTP Certification (Mandatory for Rigger Foreman and Rigger Supervisor)
• ABS Certification (Mandatory for Welder positions)
• Valid OPITO BOSIET certificate
• Valid H₂S certificate
• Valid OGUK Medical Certificate
• Relevant trade certification, diploma, or engineering qualification (as applicable)
• Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset
• Valid Passport and readiness for immediate mobilization
• Candidates currently located in India are encouraged to apply
• Good English communication skills
