Job Description

Gasoffshore is currently sourcing experienced offshore personnel for upcoming pipeline and heavy lift projects in India.

The company is seeking qualified and experienced professionals with relevant offshore construction, pipeline, rigging, lifting, mechanical, electrical, welding, and marine experience. Candidates must hold the required certifications and documents for their respective positions and be able to work safely in demanding offshore environments.

Open Positions

Rigging & Scaffolding

• Rigger – 10 positions — Malaysian Nationals
• Scaffolder Foreman – 1 position — Malaysian Nationals
• Rigger cum Scaffolder – 3 positions — Malaysian Nationals

Deck & Maintenance

• Deck Electrician – 9 positions — Indian Nationals
• Deck Mechanic – 4 positions — Indian Nationals
• Welder Helper – 6 positions — Indian Nationals
• Fitter / Gas Cutter – 6 positions — Thai Nationals

Welding

• Welding Foreman – 1 position — Thai Nationals
• Deck Welder – 4 positions — Thai Nationals

Pipeline Operations

• Line-up Operator – 1 position — Indian Nationals

Crane Operations

• Crane Operator – 300T Crane – 4 positions — Indian Nationals

Offshore Technical / Marine

• CTO – 5 positions — Any Nationality

Job Responsibilities

• Perform duties according to the assigned position and project procedures
• Support offshore pipeline installation and heavy lift operations
• Carry out rigging, scaffolding, crane, welding, mechanical, electrical, and deck activities as applicable
• Prepare and handle equipment, materials, and loads safely
• Follow approved lifting plans, work procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work requirements
• Participate in toolbox talks and offshore safety meetings
• Maintain equipment and work areas in safe and operational condition
• Ensure strict compliance with project HSE standards and offshore safety procedures
• Work effectively within a multinational offshore project team

Requirements

General Requirements

• Relevant offshore experience in pipeline and heavy lift operations
• Previous experience in the same or similar position
• Valid offshore certifications and relevant technical qualifications
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and offshore safety procedures
• Valid Passport
• Valid Seaman's Book, where applicable
• Valid Medical Report / Medical Certificate
• Relevant job testimonials / employment references
• Ability to work safely and effectively in an offshore environment
• Strong teamwork and safety awareness

Position-Specific Certifications

Candidates should hold relevant certifications applicable to their position, including where required:

• Rigging Certificate
• Scaffolding Certificate
• Crane Operator Certificate
• Relevant welding, mechanical, electrical, or technical certificates
