Location: Offshore (International)
We are currently recruiting an experienced Deck Foreman to join our client’s 7th generation drillship on a permanent rotational position. As part of the offshore marine support team, the Deck Foreman will be responsible for ensuring that all deck operations onboard the drillship are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Supervise and coordinate all deck operations on the vessel to ensure they are conducted safely and in compliance with company procedures
• Manage and oversee Crane Operators, Assistant Crane Operators, and the deck team onboard
• Perform pre- and post-operational inspections of deck equipment to ensure readiness, integrity, and correct certification status
• Maintain accurate records of deck logs, maintenance records, and permits within the company’s maintenance and reporting systems
• Monitor deck activities and equipment condition, identifying hazards or potential failures and implementing corrective / preventive actions
• Actively participate in drills, safety meetings, toolbox talks, and audits to ensure high levels of operational and safety preparedness
• Ensure all deck equipment is maintained, serviced, and available for operations when needed
• Nationality: UK, European, or South African nationals only (due to work permit restrictions)
• Minimum of 2 years of operational experience at Deck Foreman level on MODUs (Mobile Offshore Drilling Units), preferably on drillships
• Offshore Crane Operator - Stage 3 certification
• OPITO Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader (OERTL) certification
• OPITO Helideck Emergency Response Team Leader (HERTL) certification
• Ability to supervise, coordinate, and manage a team of offshore personnel
• Good knowledge of deck operations, offshore drilling equipment, and regulatory requirements
• Strong safety focus and ability to proactively manage risk on the worksite
