Job Description

Team Recruitment is seeking candidates for offshore Floorhand opportunities during early November 2026, with some positions requiring urgent starts.

The Floorhand will support drilling operations on the rig floor, assist with handling drilling equipment, and work closely with the Driller and other rig personnel to maintain safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with rig-floor operations and drilling activities.
• Handle drill pipes, tools, and equipment as directed.
• Support the preparation, assembly, and maintenance of drilling equipment.
• Keep the rig floor clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Assist with routine inspections and equipment checks.
• Follow instructions from the Driller and senior rig personnel.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and emergency drills.
• Comply with applicable offshore safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Previous offshore drilling or rig-floor experience preferred.
• Relevant offshore safety training and medical certification, where required.
• Knowledge of drilling equipment and safe manual-handling practices.
• Good understanding of HSE requirements and safe working procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a demanding offshore environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and situational-awareness skills.
• Availability for urgent or short-notice mobilisation.
